About the Role:
As a Geography Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum, helping students develop knowledge, critical thinking, and geographical skills. You will create a positive and structured learning environment and support students to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Geography lessons for a range of abilities.
  • Support students’ learning, engagement, and progress.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on student performance.
  • Adapt lessons to meet the needs of individual students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of lessons, interventions, and student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
  • Experience teaching Geography at Key Stage 3/4 preferred.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage students in learning.
  • Creative and adaptable approach to lesson planning and delivery.
