About the Role:
As a SEMH Teacher, you will deliver personalised lessons and interventions that meet the unique needs of your students. You will maintain a structured learning environment, support emotional and behavioural development, and encourage independence and engagement. This role provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ education and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students with SEMH needs.
- Support the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
- Maintain a structured and positive learning environment.
- Monitor, assess, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to implement personalised strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of lessons, interventions, and student outcomes.
- Support students in developing confidence, resilience, and independence.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
- Experience teaching or supporting students with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to deliver differentiated lessons and adapt to individual needs.
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to student well-being and development.
