Salary: £460 – £650 per week

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will take responsibility for classrooms in the absence of teaching staff, ensuring lessons are delivered effectively and students remain engaged. You will contribute to a positive learning environment, support behaviour management, and maintain the school’s high standards during cover periods.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise classrooms and deliver lessons according to pre-prepared plans.
- Ensure students remain on task and engaged throughout lessons.
- Support the implementation of behaviour management strategies.
- Monitor student participation and provide feedback to teachers.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behaviour, and lesson outcomes.
- Adapt to different classes, year groups, and learning needs as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a classroom or educational setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage classrooms effectively.
- Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities.
- Flexible, reliable, and confident in supervising lessons at short notice.
