About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and support students’ learning. You will ensure continuity of education during staff absence and contribute to a positive, structured learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver lessons across different subjects and year groups in line with existing plans.
- Maintain classroom management and a positive learning environment.
- Support students’ engagement, progress, and confidence.
- Provide constructive feedback to teaching staff regarding lesson delivery and student outcomes.
- Adapt to different classes and learning needs effectively.
- Follow school procedures to ensure consistency and continuity.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience preferred.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage, motivate, and inspire students.
- Flexible, adaptable, and confident in delivering lessons at short notice.
