About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons that develop students’ numeracy skills, problem-solving abilities, and scientific thinking. You will create a positive learning environment that encourages participation, curiosity, and academic success, while supporting the individual needs of each student.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons tailored to a range of abilities.
  • Support students’ academic development and confidence in mathematics.
  • Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive and structured environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Adapt lessons and resources to meet individual learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and develop resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behaviour.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
  • Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3/4 is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate, inspire, and engage students in learning.
  • Flexible, creative, and adaptable approach to teaching and lesson planning.
