Salary: Up to £220 per day

About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons that develop students’ reading, writing, and analytical skills. You will create a positive learning environment that encourages participation, critical thinking, and academic achievement.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons across different key stages.
  • Support students’ literacy, communication, and analytical skills development.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs and abilities.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and create a structured learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop resources.
  • Keep accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behaviour.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
  • Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3/4 preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students of different abilities.
  • Flexible and creative approach to lesson planning and teaching.
