Salary: £460 – £600 per week

About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to assist students with a variety of additional needs. You will help deliver tailored support, encourage engagement in learning, and contribute to a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with SEN.
- Assist with the delivery of personalised learning activities and interventions.
- Support students’ emotional regulation, behaviour, and social development.
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff.
- Monitor and record student progress in line with individual support plans.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting is desirable.
- Understanding of a range of special educational needs and support strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach.
- Ability to adapt to the varying needs of students.
