SEN Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education and schools across Sheffield (S2 and S3) are seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Educational Needs Teacher to support pupils with a range of special educational needs and help them achieve meaningful progress.


The Opportunity

This role is ideal for an SEN Teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and confident in adapting teaching to support pupils with additional learning, communication, or behavioural needs.


What You’re Expected to have as a SEN Teacher

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet individual SEN needs
  • Support pupils with EHCPs, ensuring targets are met and reviewed
  • Create a structured, supportive, and engaging learning environment
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and pastoral staff
  • Monitor progress and adapt strategies to support development

What We’re Looking for in a SEN Teacher

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant SEN teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching pupils with SEN (ASC, ADHD, SEMH, or similar)
  • Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills
  • A patient, nurturing, and flexible approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
