Behaviour Support Staff
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay: £460 – £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are looking for dedicated Behaviour Support Staff to work closely with students who need additional guidance to manage behaviour, regulate emotions, and re-engage with learning for schools across Sheffield (S2, S3).
The Role
You’ll play a key part in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom as a Behaviour Support Staff, helping to create a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment.
Key Duties as a Behaviour Support Staff
- Provide 1:1 and small-group behaviour support
- Help students develop positive coping strategies and routines
- De-escalate challenging situations using positive behaviour approaches
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
What We’re Looking For in a Behaviour Support Staff
- Experience supporting children or young people with behavioural needs
- A calm, empathetic, and consistent approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to remain composed in challenging situations
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
