Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide valuable classroom support and guidance, with opportunities available across schools situated in the S5 and S9 communities of Sheffield.
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with teachers to support students’ learning, encourage engagement, and help create a positive classroom environment. You will play a key role in ensuring every learner feels supported and motivated.
Main Responsibilities of Teaching Assistant:
- Assist with classroom activities and learning resources to support students.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support where needed.
- Encourage engagement, confidence, and positive behaviour among learners.
- Collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress and provide feedback.
- Help maintain an inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience supporting students in an educational setting.
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and support learners with varying needs.
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
