Salary: £160 – £265 per day

GSL Education London Branch are excited to be looking for an experienced Media Studies Teacher to join a boys’ secondary school and sixth form in Newham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Media Studies Teacher who enjoys inspiring young people and bringing creative media lessons to life. If you are a confident Media Studies Teacher who can engage students across KS3 - KS5, this role could be perfect for you.
As a Media Studies Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons, support students’ academic progress, and contribute positively to the wider school community. Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons as a Media Studies Teacher in line with the national curriculum

Teach Media Studies at KS3 - KS5, preparing students for exams and coursework

Assess, mark, and track student progress, giving clear feedback

Manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a positive learning environment

Work closely with colleagues and support the wider department

Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and independent learning
Requirements:

Qualified Media Studies Teacher status (QTS or equivalent)

Strong subject knowledge and confidence in teaching Media Studies

Experience teaching in a UK secondary school or sixth form

Good classroom and behaviour management skills

Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing

A positive, flexible, and professional attitude
