Job Title: Pastoral Manager
Location: Wakefield (WF4)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are looking for an inspiring Pastoral Manager to make a real difference to learners’ personal and social development, with opportunities available across schools situated in the WF4 area of Wakefield.
As a Pastoral Manager, you will support students’ wellbeing, attendance, and behaviour while working with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure every learner receives the care they need to thrive.
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support the pastoral care of students across the school.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to students facing personal, social, or behavioural challenges.
- Monitor attendance, behaviour, and wellbeing, implementing strategies to improve outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support learners.
- Maintain accurate records and report on student progress.
Requirements of Pastoral Manager:
- Previous experience in pastoral care, mentoring, or education support roles.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and support students with a range of needs.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
