Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Wakefield (WF4)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are hiring a motivated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide personalised support to students with additional learning needs, with opportunities available across schools situated in the WF4 locality of Wakefield.
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA), you will support a designated student’s learning, build confidence, and encourage independence within a safe, inclusive environment.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support tailored to the student’s individual needs.
- Assist with classroom tasks, activities, and learning resources.
- Encourage engagement, independence, and positive behaviour.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to support learning goals.
Requirements of 1:1 Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience supporting children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and support learners with varying needs.
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
