Job Title: Religious Education (RE) Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time 

Are you passionate about religious education and keen to help students explore beliefs, values, and ethics?

GSL Education are working with schools in Doncaster (DN2, DN6) to appoint a dedicated RE Teacher who can inspire curiosity and thoughtful discussion.

As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will deliver lessons on diverse religious traditions and moral perspectives, fostering an inclusive classroom where learners confidently ask questions and share ideas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-structured RE lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Promote discussion, reflection, and critical thinking on religious and ethical topics.
  • Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as an RE Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
