About the Role:
As a SEMH Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons and interventions that cater to the needs of students with SEMH. You will foster a positive classroom environment, support behaviour management, and contribute to the holistic development of each learner.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons tailored to students’ individual SEMH needs.
  • Support students’ social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Create a safe and structured classroom environment that encourages positive behaviour.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and external professionals to implement personalised strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of lessons, interventions, and student outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
  • Experience supporting students with SEMH or related needs is highly desirable.
  • Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate teaching and adapt to individual learning requirements.
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to student well-being and development.
