About the Role:
As a SEMH Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons and interventions that cater to the needs of students with SEMH. You will foster a positive classroom environment, support behaviour management, and contribute to the holistic development of each learner.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons tailored to students’ individual SEMH needs.
- Support students’ social, emotional, and academic development.
- Create a safe and structured classroom environment that encourages positive behaviour.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and external professionals to implement personalised strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of lessons, interventions, and student outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
- Experience supporting students with SEMH or related needs is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate teaching and adapt to individual learning requirements.
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to student well-being and development.
