About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering lessons in line with existing plans, managing classroom behaviour, and supporting students’ learning across various subjects. You will play a key role in ensuring a smooth continuation of education during staff absences.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver prepared lessons across multiple subjects and year groups.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Support students’ engagement, learning, and progress.
  • Follow lesson plans and school procedures to ensure consistency.
  • Provide feedback to permanent staff regarding lesson delivery and student outcomes.
  • Adapt to the needs of different classes and learning abilities.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience preferred.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students across a range of abilities and subjects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and confident in delivering lessons at short notice.
