About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support students in their learning, assist with classroom management, and provide guidance that helps pupils achieve their potential. You will work closely with teachers and staff to implement strategies that address individual needs and enhance the overall educational experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of lessons and support learning activities.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support for students who require additional help.
- Promote positive behaviour and maintain a supportive classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
- Help implement personalised learning plans and intervention strategies.
- Support students with social, emotional, or behavioural needs.
- Encourage independence and participation in classroom activities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Understanding of special educational needs and inclusive teaching strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students.
- A compassionate, patient, and supportive approach to working with children.
