About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will manage classes in the absence of teaching staff, maintaining a safe and productive learning environment. You will ensure students remain engaged, supported, and on task, contributing to their overall educational experience.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring high standards of behaviour.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and support students’ learning across a range of subjects.
- Maintain a safe and structured classroom environment.
- Monitor and manage student behaviour, following school policies.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on student engagement and lesson outcomes.
- Support individual students as required, including those with additional needs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in schools or educational settings is preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students across different age groups and abilities.
- Organised, adaptable, and able to respond to changing needs.
- A professional, approachable, and reliable attitude.
