About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons that engage students, build their numeracy skills, and encourage critical thinking. You will create a positive learning environment that promotes participation, curiosity, and academic achievement.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons tailored to students’ abilities.
- Support students’ learning and confidence through differentiated teaching strategies.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and best practice.
- Keep accurate records of student attainment, attendance, and behaviour.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
- Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3/4 is preferred.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students in learning.
- Creative and adaptable approach to lesson planning and teaching.
