About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will deliver lessons that inspire students, develop their literacy skills, and support progress across the curriculum. You will create a positive learning environment and encourage students to engage fully with their studies.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons for students of varying abilities.
- Support students’ academic and personal development through tailored teaching strategies.
- Maintain a structured classroom environment that encourages positive behaviour.
- Monitor, assess, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and develop lesson plans.
- Maintain accurate records of student attainment, behaviour, and progress.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
- Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3/4 is preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students.
- Creative and adaptable approach to lesson planning and delivery.
