Salary: Up to £220 per day
Contract Type: Full time, Jan – Easter

About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will deliver lessons that inspire students, develop their literacy skills, and support progress across the curriculum. You will create a positive learning environment and encourage students to engage fully with their studies.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons for students of varying abilities.
  • Support students’ academic and personal development through tailored teaching strategies.
  • Maintain a structured classroom environment that encourages positive behaviour.
  • Monitor, assess, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and develop lesson plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attainment, behaviour, and progress.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
  • Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3/4 is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students.
  • Creative and adaptable approach to lesson planning and delivery.
