Salary: £460 – £600 per week

About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support students in the classroom, assisting with learning activities, providing guidance, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure each student receives the help they need to succeed.
Responsibilities:
- Support students with learning activities, adapting tasks to meet individual needs.
- Encourage independence, engagement, and confidence in students.
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons and classroom management.
- Monitor and report on student progress, behaviour, and engagement.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external professionals to provide consistent support.
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Support students’ social and emotional development alongside academic learning.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or similar role is preferred.
- Understanding of supporting students with additional needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of students.
- A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learners.
