Salary: £460 – £650 per week

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will ensure smooth day-to-day classroom management, delivering planned lessons and supporting students’ learning. You will maintain a structured and positive learning environment, providing assistance where necessary to enable students to achieve their potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring students remain engaged and focused.
  • Follow lesson plans provided by teaching staff, delivering instructions clearly.
  • Support students’ behaviour, encouraging a positive and respectful learning environment.
  • Monitor student engagement and progress, providing feedback where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and other support colleagues to ensure continuity.
  • Maintain accurate records of lessons, attendance, and incidents.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a school or educational setting is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage students across different ages and abilities.
  • Flexible, reliable, and professional approach to all aspects of work.
