Job Title: Sports Coaches
Location: Wakefield (WF4)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are recruiting motivated Sports Coaches to deliver engaging and inclusive physical activities, with opportunities available across schools situated within the WF4 locality of Wakefield.
As a Sports Coach, you will plan and lead sessions that promote teamwork, fitness, and a positive attitude towards sport. You will create a supportive environment where students feel motivated to participate and improve their skills.
Prime Responsibilities of Sports Coach:
- Lead and deliver structured sports sessions across a variety of activities.
- Encourage participation, teamwork, and healthy competition.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all learners.
- Support students’ personal development and confidence through sport.
- Work collaboratively with staff to support extracurricular and curriculum-based activities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience coaching or supporting young people in sports or physical education.
- Strong communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage groups effectively and safely.
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
