Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: £460 -£650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are appointing a reliable Cover Supervisor to maintain continuity of learning during teacher absences, with opportunities available across Rotherham schools situated in the S65 and S66 areas.
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will supervise whole classes, deliver pre-set work, and ensure students remain focused and engaged. You will play a key role in maintaining a calm, well-managed classroom environment and supporting positive behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes across different subjects using lesson plans provided.
- Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment.
- Support students to stay on task and complete assigned work.
- Follow school behaviour and safeguarding policies at all times.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff where required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting.
- Confidence managing a classroom independently as a Cover Supervisor.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- A professional and flexible approach to school life.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
