Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are recruiting a committed History Teacher to inspire curiosity and critical thinking, with opportunities available across Sheffield schools located within the S35 district.
As a History Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that promote enquiry, discussion, and analysis of historical events, fostering an inclusive classroom where learners confidently share ideas and deepen their understanding of history.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-planned history lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Encourage critical thinking, debate, and independent learning.
- Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.
Requirements:
- Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or another recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a History Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
