Job Title: Physical Education (PE) Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are hiring a motivated PE Teacher to inspire students through engaging physical education lessons, with opportunities available across Sheffield schools situated within the S35 area.

As a Physical Education (PE) Teacher, you will plan and deliver structured activities that promote teamwork, discipline, and physical fitness. You will create a safe and inclusive environment where learners feel encouraged to participate and develop confidence.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Promote participation, teamwork, and positive attitudes towards physical activity.
  • Maintain a safe, well-managed, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school objectives.

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a PE Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
