Graduate Cover Supervisor
Location: Middlesbrough, North East
Pay: £95 – £120 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time
Just finished university and thinking about a career in education? GSL Education are recruiting Graduate Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Middlesbrough. This is a fantastic way to gain hands-on classroom experience while earning and building your confidence in schools.
What You’ll Be Doing as a Graduate Cover Supervisor:
- Supervising classes when teachers are absent
- Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans (no planning required!)
- Keeping students engaged and focused during lessons
- Managing classroom behaviour in a supportive way
- Helping students with their learning and wellbeing
- Sharing feedback with teachers after lessons

What We’re Looking For in a Graduate Cover Supervisor:
- Graduates from any subject background
- Confident, approachable, and professional individuals
- An interest in education or working with young people
- Some experience with young people is helpful, but not essential
- A good understanding of safeguarding (training provided)
