Job Title: Design Technology (DT) Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are recruiting a motivated Design Technology Teacher to inspire students in design, engineering, and manufacturing, with opportunities available across Doncaster schools serving the DN2 and DN6 districts.

As a Design Technology (DT) Teacher, you will deliver lessons that build practical skills, creativity, and design understanding, fostering an inclusive classroom where learners feel confident to experiment, build, and innovate.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-structured Design Technology lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and practical application of skills.
  • Maintain a safe, positive, and focused classroom environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or another accredited teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Design Technology Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
