Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are seeking an inspiring Science Teacher to join schools across Doncaster, with opportunities available in the DN2 and DN6 localities, making lessons engaging and thought‑provoking.

As a Science Teacher, you will deliver lessons that build understanding of biology, chemistry, and physics, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and practical skills in a supportive classroom.

Prime Responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-structured science lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Encourage enquiry, experimentation, and analytical thinking.
  • Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Science Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
