Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time 

Are you passionate about literature and language, and keen to inspire students to develop strong reading, writing, and communication skills?

GSL Education are working with schools in Doncaster, covering areas such as DN2 and DN6, to appoint a dedicated English Teacher who can make learning engaging and accessible.

As an English Teacher, you will deliver lessons that foster a love of reading, strengthen literacy, and develop critical thinking, while creating an inclusive classroom where students feel confident to express ideas and grow academically.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-structured English lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Encourage reading, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as an English Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
