Design Technology Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Design Technology (DT) Teacher who can motivate learners through practical, hands-on teaching for schools across Sheffield (S35). This role is perfect for someone who thrives in workshop and classroom environments and enjoys guiding students from concept to finished product.
About the Position
You will deliver engaging Design Technology lessons across relevant key stages, encouraging problem-solving, creativity, and technical skills. Specialisms such as resistant materials, product design, or graphics are welcome.
Key Duties as a DT Teacher
- Plan and teach inspiring Design Technology lessons aligned with the curriculum
- Promote safe working practices within workshops and practical spaces
- Support students to develop design, making, and evaluation skills
- Monitor progress and provide meaningful feedback
- Contribute positively to the wider school community
Essential Requirements of a DT Teacher
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Design Technology in a UK school
- Strong organisational and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
- A creative, adaptable, and student-focused approach
