Job Title:Religious Education (RE) Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are appointing a motivated RE Teacher to work alongside schools across Sheffield, with opportunities available in the S11 district, inspiring curiosity and thoughtful discussion.

As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that encourage reflection on diverse religious and moral perspectives, fostering a supportive classroom where learners feel confident to question and deepen their understanding.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-structured RE lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Promote critical thinking, discussion, and reflection on ethical and religious topics.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or another accredited teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as an RE Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
