Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher who can help students build strong mathematical foundations while encouraging problem-solving and logical thinking for schools across Sheffield (S35). This opportunity suits teachers who enjoy adapting their approach to meet a wide range of learning styles.
About the Position
You will deliver Maths lessons across relevant key stages, ensuring learning is engaging, purposeful, and accessible. Whether the Maths Teacher role is short-term supply or a longer-term placement, you’ll play a key role in supporting pupil progress and achievement.
Main Duties
- Plan and deliver Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Break down complex concepts to support all ability levels
- Create a calm, focused classroom environment
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Work closely with colleagues to support department goals
Qualities we want in a Maths Teacher
- QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Previous experience teaching Maths in a UK school
- Confident classroom management and clear communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through GSL Education
- A flexible, reliable, and professional approach
