Job Title:Computer Science (CS) Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are recruiting a motivated Computer Science Teacher to work with schools across Sheffield, focusing on the S11 district, to inspire curiosity in computing and technology.

As Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that build understanding of core computing concepts, fostering logical thinking, practical application, and responsible use of technology in a supportive classroom.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the computing curriculum.
  • Support students in developing coding, analytical, and digital skills.
  • Maintain a focused classroom using effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Computer Science Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
