Lecturer in Media / IT (Post-16) – Immediate Start
Location:  Chelmsford
Pay Rate: £140 – £360 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time

The Role:
As a Lecturer in Media / IT, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality Media and/or IT lessons to Post-16 learners

  • Teach a range of topics such as digital media, content creation, computer systems, software, networking, or coding (depending on specialism)

  • Plan engaging schemes of work aligned with awarding body requirements

  • Assess, track, and support learner progress

  • Prepare students for coursework, practical assessments, and examinations

  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-structured learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or Post-16 teaching qualification desirable)

  • Strong subject knowledge in Media and/or IT

  • Experience teaching Post-16 learners

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • Ability to start immediately
