*SEMH Teacher*
Location: Middlesbrough
Salary: £150 - £210 per day

An ‘outstanding’ SEMH school Middlesbrough is looking to appoint a creative teacher with strong behaviour management and a positive can-do attitude.
The headteacher would like to hear from candidates that are looking to work in a buzzing and high intensity environment. Strong ECT’s are welcome to apply as the school has a fantastic training scheme.
The staff at the school are well known for being very supportive, friendly and a work family.
The main duties will include:

Supporting the pupils in their education through the national curriculum and individual learning plans
-
Teaching and managing the behaviour of 5 pupils
-
Attending EHCP reviews
-
Working with a team of teaching assistants and managing their time
-
Planning and delivering creative and innovative lessons
-
Using formative and summative assessment
-
Promoting independence with life skills
-
Providing an outstanding level of safeguarding and pastoral care
The ideal candidate will:

Be available for work Monday to Friday

Hold a degree and QTS
-
ECT’s are welcome to apply

Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring

An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with ourselves)

A full checkable work history
