*Math’s Teacher * 

Location: Middlesbrough  

Salary: £155.00 - £220.00 per day  

Immediate Start  

 

An ‘Good’ secondary school with outstanding features in Middlesbrough is looking for an Math’s Teacher to join their supportive and forward thinking team. The head teacher would like to hear from candidates that are driven and a proven track record of securing successful outcomes and attainment in Mathematics. Candidates that have a real passion for their subject and have effective behaviour management are a must 

The main duties will include:  

  • Planning, teaching and assessing the mathematics curriculum  

  • Select and requisition appropriate books, instructional aids and school supplies as needed  

  • Following the school behaviour management policy effectively  

  • Promoting independence  

  • Providing an outstanding level of safeguarding and pastoral care  

The ideal candidate will:  

  • Hold Qualified Teaching Status  

  • Have a degree in subject area  

  • Be passionate about their subject area  

  • ECT’s are welcome  

  • Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring  

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with ourselves) 

  • A full checkable work history
