About the Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons across a range of abilities, helping students develop knowledge, practical skills, and scientific curiosity. You will monitor progress, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and support students to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons for a range of abilities.
  • Support students’ learning and development through differentiated teaching strategies.
  • Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources, lesson plans, and interventions.
  • Maintain accurate records of lessons, assessments, and student outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
  • Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3/4 is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate, inspire, and engage students in learning.
  • Adaptable and creative approach to lesson planning and teaching.
