About the Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons across a range of abilities, helping students develop knowledge, practical skills, and scientific curiosity. You will monitor progress, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and support students to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons for a range of abilities.
- Support students’ learning and development through differentiated teaching strategies.
- Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources, lesson plans, and interventions.
- Maintain accurate records of lessons, assessments, and student outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
- Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3/4 is preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate, inspire, and engage students in learning.
- Adaptable and creative approach to lesson planning and teaching.
