About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, supporting students’ numeracy skills, and fostering engagement in mathematics. You will help students develop confidence and achieve their academic goals while maintaining a positive classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons across different abilities and year groups.
- Support students’ understanding and progress through differentiated teaching strategies.
- Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain classroom management and a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources, lesson plans, and intervention strategies.
- Keep accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behaviour.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
- Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3/4 is preferred.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their best.
- Creative, adaptable, and confident in planning and delivering lessons.
