Salary: Up to £220 per day
Contract Type: Full time, Jan – Easter

About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that inspire a love for reading, writing, and language. You will support students of varying abilities, helping them build confidence and achieve strong outcomes in English.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student development.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching English at secondary level is preferred.
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
