Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460 – £650 per week
Contract Type: Full time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a Sports Coach, you will work closely with teachers and staff to deliver engaging sports sessions and physical activities. You will play an important role in encouraging active participation, promoting positive behaviour, and supporting students’ physical, social, and emotional development.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver structured and engaging sports and physical activity sessions.
  • Support students in developing teamwork, confidence, and motor skills.
  • Encourage positive behaviour, discipline, and participation during activities.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support the wider curriculum.
  • Adapt activities to meet the needs and abilities of all students.
  • Promote health, fitness, and an active lifestyle within the school environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working as a Sports Coach or in a similar role is desirable.
  • A passion for sport, physical education, and youth development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate, engage, and inspire students of varying abilities.
  • A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to working in schools.
