Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education and schools in Sheffield (S11) are looking for a passionate Mathematics Teacher to deliver engaging lessons that build confidence, analytical thinking, and practical problem-solving skills. This Maths Teacher role is perfect for someone who can make mathematics exciting, accessible, and relevant to everyday life.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Plan and teach Maths lessons across key stages
  • Cover topics including algebra, geometry, statistics, and problem-solving
  • Encourage logical thinking and independent learning
  • Adapt lessons for students of different abilities
  • Maintain a positive, organised, and focused classroom environment
  • Track progress and provide constructive feedback

Requirements of a Maths Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Maths (preferred)
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Enthusiastic, approachable, and student-centred
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
