Job Title: Computer Science (CS) Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are appointing for a skilled Computer Science Teacher to join schools across Sheffield, working within the S5 and S9 localities, and delivering engaging lessons that build confidence and knowledge in programming, algorithms, and digital literacy.

As a Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will guide students through practical and theoretical concepts, encouraging analytical thinking, creativity, and a strong understanding of computing principles.

Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging computer science lessons covering a range of topics.
• Support pupils in developing programming, problem-solving, and computational skills.
• Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment as a Computer Science Teacher.
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach confidently.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
