Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher who can motivate students to enjoy physical activity while developing resilience, cooperation, and healthy habits for schools across Barnsley (S70, S71). This PE Teacher role is ideal for someone who brings positivity, structure, and high expectations to every lesson.
What Your Lessons Will Deliver:
- Plan and teach engaging PE lessons across a variety of sports and activities
- Promote fitness, wellbeing, and positive attitudes toward physical activity
- Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and self-confidence
- Manage practical sessions safely and effectively
- Adapt activities to suit all abilities and needs
The PE Teacher We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching PE (preferred)
- Strong behaviour and class management skills
- Energetic, organised, and professional approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education
