Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking a motivated Computer Science (CS) Teacher who can bring digital concepts to life and help students build confidence in computing, programming, and problem-solving for schools in Barnsley (S70, S71). This CS Teacher role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys combining technical knowledge with creative teaching approaches.
Your CS Teacher Role in the Digital Classroom:
- Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across key stages
- Teach programming, algorithms, data, and computational thinking
- Encourage logical reasoning and independent problem-solving
- Adapt lessons to suit a range of abilities and learning styles
- Promote safe and responsible use of technology
- Maintain a positive, focused learning environment
What We’re Looking for in a CS Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Computer Science (preferred)
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
- Confident, organised, and student-centred approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education
