Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)

Schools across Barnsley (S70, S71) are working alongside GSL Education to look for an enthusiastic Drama Teacher who can inspire students through performance, storytelling, and self-expression. This Drama Teacher role is ideal for a teacher who understands how drama builds communication skills, teamwork, and confidence—both on and off the stage.
What Your Lessons Will Focus On:
- Deliver engaging Drama lessons across relevant key stages
- Teach performance skills, improvisation, and scripted work
- Encourage creativity, collaboration, and self-confidence
- Support students with practical assessments and performances
- Create an inclusive, energetic, and supportive learning environment
The Drama Teacher Schools Are Seeking:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Drama (preferred)
- Confident classroom and behaviour management
- Creative, energetic, and student-centred approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education
