Job Title: Teacher of Computer Studies

Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently recruiting a Computer Studies Teacher to work across secondary schools in Rotherham. This is a great opportunity for experienced teachers or confident subject specialists who enjoy teaching computing, IT, and digital skills while supporting student progress.
About the Role:
As a Computer Studies Teacher, you’ll deliver engaging lessons that help students develop practical IT skills, problem-solving abilities, and digital literacy. You’ll create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and achievement.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver Computer Studies / IT lessons across KS3 and KS4

Assess, track, and support student progress

Manage classroom behaviour effectively

Support pupils with targeted interventions and project work

Work collaboratively with department staff
Job Requirements:

Qualified teacher or strong subject specialist in Computer Studies / IT (QTS preferred)

Experience teaching Computing / IT at secondary level

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Confident, organised, and adaptable approach

An enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply)
