Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently recruiting an English Teacher to work across secondary schools in Sheffield. This is a great opportunity for experienced teachers or confident subject specialists who enjoy delivering engaging lessons and supporting student progress.
About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you’ll plan and deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum, helping students develop their reading, writing, and communication skills. You’ll create a positive learning environment that supports progress and achievement.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver English lessons across KS3 and KS4

Assess, track, and support student progress

Manage classroom behaviour effectively

Support pupils with targeted interventions and exam preparation

Work collaboratively with department staff
Job Requirements:

Qualified teacher or strong subject specialist in English (QTS preferred)

Experience teaching English at secondary level

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Confident, organised, and adaptable approach

An enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply)
