Job Title: Teacher – Maths
Location: Rotherham
Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time / Part-time available

GSL Education are currently recruiting a Maths Teacher to work across secondary schools in Rotherham. This is a great opportunity for experienced teachers or confident subject specialists who enjoy delivering engaging lessons and supporting student progress.

About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you’ll plan and deliver structured, engaging lessons that help students build confidence and achieve strong outcomes. You’ll create a positive classroom environment while supporting pupils across a range of abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Assess and track student progress

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively

  • Support pupils with questions and targeted interventions

  • Work collaboratively with department staff

Job Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher or strong subject specialist in Maths (QTS preferred)

  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Confident, organised, and adaptable approach

  • An enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply)
